What is SAMS?
SAMS stands for Students Academic Management System. It has two components e-Admission & e-Administration. SAMS presently supports online admission for Higher Secondary, Degree, Post-graduations, ITI, Diploma, PDIS, Teacher Education, Physical Education, correspondence and Music, Dance & Drama Education institutions.
What is e-Admission?
e-Admission is nothing but online admission carried out for various courses of Odisha. The detailed process of admission is explained in the Common Prospectus (CP) available separately for different courses.
Where can I see the list of institution that come under the e-Admission process?
Various information such as Institute principal name, address, contact details & detailed profile of different institution coming under the e-Admission process can be obtained from the website i.e.

How will i apply the ITI Application form through Online?
The students are required to visit the website
www.samsodisha.gov.in
and click on "ITI” for Online Application form.
Do I submit the CAF online only?
Yes, you need to apply online through the CAF following the guidelines of the CP, take print copies of the Applicant CAF and keep it with you for further process at the time of admission..

What is the maximum number of options to fill in a CAF?
An eligible applicant will have to apply ONLINE for a minimum of FIVE options through

Where can I see data on seats available of all the institute?

Where can I find information about eligibility for different courses?

Please Use “Forgot Password" Link to retrieve your password.
Is there any offline mode payment provision For CAF?
No, there is no such provision. You have to pay only in online.
Payment deducted but unable to get conformation page?
Please wait for 24 to 72 hours to reflect or proceed with further payment option.
Can I modify any information in the CAF after submission?
Yes , you can modify maximum upto 3 times
How would I know if I am selected? Will I be intimated exclusively?
The merit lists are published on the scheduled date & time at website
www.samsodisha.gov.in
for information of public. You will also be intimated your status exclusively through SMS, WhatsApp & Email about the selection status. You can also download the intimation letter from your student login & from your WhatsApp number.
How much do I pay while submitting a filled CAF?
All candidates except orphan candidates have to pay Rs 100/- per application (CAF).
What should I do after getting Intimation?
Arrange all the requisites documents for admission such as original certificates for verification, photo and admission fees & report to the Principal of the destination Institute on the scheduled date & time.
